LA PLATA, Md. (April 21, 2010)—The College of Southern Maryland has named Lynn E. Duff as its director of the St. Charles Children's Learning Center at CSM. Duff brings 25 years of experience to the position.

"It's important that children have people around them that can teach them every minute of the day," Duff said regarding the importance of early childhood education. A resident of California, Md., Duff previously was the director of Little Seedlings Christian Pre-school and Kindergarten. She is a member of several organizations dedicated to children, including the St. Mary's Early Childhood Team and the Charles County Early Care & Education Team.
