Guy Appointed to Board of Library Trustees

LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 20, 2010)—Carolyn Guy has been appointed to the Board of Library Trustees by the St. Mary's County Board of County Commissioners. She will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Joseph Bush who has relocated to Virginia.

Guy, who is from Mechanicsville, is currently a real estate agent and instructor with Residential Plus Real Estate. She has operated a real estate business since 1995. Prior to being a Realtor, she was a school bus driver and substitute school teacher with St. Mary's County Public Schools. She has been a PTA officer and member of the Budget Advisory Committee.

"I look forward to contributing to the welfare of the library system, which has served us so well," stated Guy in a prepared release. "Libraries have been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I appreciate the opportunity to give back."
