LA PLATA, Md. (March 31, 2010) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest report.
THEFT UNDER $1000: On March 24 at approximately 1253 hours, TFC S. Murphy responded to Jerry’s Subs and Pizza, 2272 Crain Highway, Waldorf, regarding an employee theft. TFC Murphy made contact with the owner, Mohamed Ahlaji Sesay, who advised that one of his employees, Silmar Cerrato Perez, 23, of Waldorf, fraudulently wrote a check from his companies Bank of American checkbook for $455.00. Perez cashed the check at Waldorf Liquor Store. Perez was arrested and charged with theft under $1000.
