LA PLATA, Md. (March 23, 2010) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest report.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On March 23, at approximately 0002 hours, Trooper A. Watson was travelling northbound U.S. Route 301, north of Smallwood Drive when he observed a black Infiniti displaying a rear registration plate that was not illuminated. Trooper Watson stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Justin Alexander Smith, 20, of Bowie, when he detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Smith was arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
