MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 22, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON: On April 16, 2009 at 4:20 p.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at MF Bowen Road in Huntingtown. Charles S. Graves, 41, of Prince Frederick, was arrested after a pair of nun-chucks were found concealed in the vehicle. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

SERIOUS VEHICLE ACCIDENT: On April 17, 2009 at 6:40 p.m., Nikia C. Wallace, 22 of Hyattsville was operating a Chevrolet Blazer southbound on Rt. 4 near White Sands Drive. Wallace lost control of her vehicle and overturned several times in the roadway. Wallace was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Both passengers were also injured. Sharday N. Redmond, 22 of District Heights, was transported to Prince George's Shock Trauma and currently is in stable condition. Charlton L. Jackson, 22 of Huntingtown, was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, PARAPHERNALIA: On April 18, 2009 at 12:00am, Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Holiday Inn Drive in Solomons. The driver, Tiffany C. Glass, 31 of Glen Dale, was arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On April 18, 2009 at 12:00 am Trooper First Class Bowling responded to a call for an assault on Solomons Island. Larry D. Neal, Jr., 23 of Suitland, was arrested at the scene for disorderly conduct. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On April 18, 2009 at approximately 1:00 a.m., Trooper Cavill was working crowd control on Solomons Island. Tobin D. Wood, 24, of Surprise, AZ was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On April 18, 2009 at 1:15 am, Trooper Wyer responded to the 7-11 store in Solomons for a reported disorderly crowd. Marlene E. Blush, 33, of La Plata, was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On April 18, 2009 at 10:45 p.m., Trooper Roby responded to the Hilton Garden Inn in Solomons for a reported disorderly subject. Frank J. Boka, Jr., 24, of Leonardtown, was extremely intoxicated and screaming out profanity. He was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On April 19, 2009 at 11:53 p.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 260 at Skinners Turn Road in Dunkirk. An odor of Marijuana was detected and a search revealed Marijuana in the vehicle. Jack Leonard, Jr., 27, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
