Two Arrested for Compton Burglary


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 5, 2009)—Police today arrested two men in connection with a burglary which occurred on March 4 at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Archer Street in Compton. Michael J. Gardiner, 21, of Compton, and John R. Cole, Jr., 28, of Hughesville were both charged with first degree burglary, theft over $500, and property destruction. They were incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center.

The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) conducted the investigation and made the arrests.
