Police Investigate Thefts from Autos in Dentsville Area


LA PLATA, Md. (Oct. 1, 2009) - The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the information.

THEFTS FROM AUTOS IN DENTSVILLE AREA: The Charles County Sheriff's Office is investigating several thefts from autos that occurred in Applegrove Estates, Hudson Ridge, Amy Acres, and Bridge Leigh Farms in Dentsville. The suspects entered unlocked cars or broke out windows and stole electronic equipment, purses, tools, and money. Most of the thefts occurred late at night.

While the Sheriff's Office investigates, residents are urged to take a few, simple precautions. Remove all valuables from your vehicle, lock all doors and windows and report suspicious activity immediately.
