Clarke's Landing Road Construction July 20-24

LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 16, 2009)—The St. Mary's County Department of Public Works & Transportation will be performing construction work and replacing a 24-inch culvert crossing underneath Clarke's Landing Road, approximately 0.20 miles in from the intersection of MD Route 235 (Three Notch Road). The work will start on Monday, July 20, and continue through Friday, July 24, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

During these times, county officials say to expect one lane of traffic on Clarke's Landing Road to be closed in the area of the pipe crossing.

The dates and times specified could change due to weather conditions, say officials.
