MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 11, 2009) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Sunday, June 7 at 1:37 pm, Tpr. N. Gresko responded to the 48000 block of Seaside View Drive in Ridge for the reported malicious destruction of property to a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 52, of Ridge. He advised unknown suspect(s) damaged a 1989 silver Dodge by throwing a log and denting the hood. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving. Estimated damage to the victim's vehicle is $300.00. The investigation continues.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE: On Wednesday, June 10 at 3:09 am, TFC M. Moore responded to the 21000 block of Liberty Street in Lexington Park for the reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the suspect, Harris Linnielle Proctor, 33, of Lexington Park as he was leaving the residence. He was escorted back inside the residence and contact was also made with the female victim, 27, of Lexington Park. She advised she was involved in an argument with Mr. Harris which turned physical. She further advised after being assaulted he left the residence. Mr. Harris was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
