LA PLATA, Md. (Oct. 20, 2008) - The Charles County Sheriff's Department recently released the following incident and arrest reports.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: On Oct. 14 at 6:30 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a business in the 4400 block of Southern Business Park Drive in Waldorf for the report of a break-in. Investigation revealed sometime between Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. and Oct. 14 at 6:30 a.m., the suspect broke into the business by breaking out a window. A television and other items were stolen. Officers searched the perimeter but the suspect fled prior to police arrival. Officer R Johnson is investigating.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: On Oct. 14 at 3:16 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a business in the 4100 block of Crain Highway for the report of break-in. Investigation revealed the suspect threw a brick through a window of the business to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect rifled through desk drawers but fled without obtaining anything. Officer S. Chandler investigated.
