Lex. Park Man Dead After Alleged Robbery


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 20, 2008)—A 75 year-old Lexington Park man died this afternoon shortly after he told police he was robbed at gunpoint in Leonardtown. Police have not released the name of the victim.

St. Mary's County police responded to the parking lot of the Dabbs Dental Building in Leonardtown around 1 p.m. in response to the reported robbery. They located the victim inside a vehicle in the parking lot. The man was transported to St. Mary's Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
