Suitland Man Charged In Indian Head Arson


INDIAN HEAD, Md. (June 5, 2008) – Deputy State Fire Marshal’s have charged a Suitland man in connection with an Indian Head arson fire. William Armah II, age 23, was charged Wednesday afternoon with second degree arson of a construction trailer.

The May 28 fire was reported around 5 p.m. at the unit block of Poplar Lane, Indian Head. Damage to the trailer was minimal and there was no reported loss to the trailers contents. The trailer was owned by Tommy Griffis.

If convicted of the charge of second degree arson, Armah could face imprisonment not to exceed twenty years and / or fines no more than $30,000.

Armah was released from custody pending trial.
