Chesapeake Public Charter School to Conduct Prospective Student Information Tours


GREAT MILLS, Md. (Jan. 9, 2008) - Chesapeake Public Charter School (CPCS) will conduct two Prospective Student Information Session/Tours on Thursday, January 10, and Tuesday, January 15, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Chesapeake Public Charter School is a small school setting aimed at providing an alternative for parents seeking a smaller, more personalized learning environment for their child. CPCS is a tuition-free public school that is part of the St. Mary's County Public School system.

Admission to CPCS is open to all students residing in St. Mary's County eligible to attend the grades provided by CPCS (kindergarten through grade 6 for the upcoming school year).

Current teachers, parents and students will be on hand to answer questions and lead tours of the school. Applications and admission information will be available.

All applications for the 2008-2009 school year must be received no later than January, 31, 2008.
