China Richardson, 27, and William Anthony Smothers, 24, who reside there, were arrested at the scene. They were charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and manufacturing equipment and were being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before a district court commissioner. The search warrant and subsequent arrests were part of an on-going investigation by COPs Officer C. Caldwell.

FUGITIVE ARREST: On Dec. 28 about midnight, Charles County Sheriff’s officers located Deante Mandell Duckett, 22, of Brandywine at a residence in the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf.
