Calvert County Job Fair To Offer Local Career Opportunities

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (August 24, 2007) - Are you a Southern Maryland commuter who is tired of sitting in traffic? If so, take the Route 231 exit on September 6, 2007, to the Calvert County Job Fair.

Stop by the Calvert County Fairgrounds between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to learn of local job opportunities. This event, co-sponsored by the Calvert County Department of Economic Development, the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce, the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, and the Calvert County Fair, Inc., strives to provide job seekers with a variety of career opportunities.

Nearly 40 Calvert County employers will be on hand to discuss current and future openings, including Calvert County Government, Calvert Memorial Hospital, Calvert Systems Engineering, the College of Southern Maryland, County First Bank, Comcast, Royalle Dining Services, Mid-Atlantic Animal Specialty Hospital, Batching Systems, Direct and many more, promise event organizers.

Some of the jobs available include software and system engineers, physical therapists and registered nurses, restaurant managers, administrative staff, cashiers, bank tellers, sales associates, CDL drivers, waiters and bartenders, warehouse workers and veterinary technicians.
