MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

MDOP: On July 4, 2007 at 11:00 am, L. Richardson, of Calvert Beach Road, St. Leonard, MD, reported that an unknown suspect cut tires on her vehicle which was parked in front of her residence. A possible suspect was named, and the investigation is continuing by TPR M. Roy.

THEFT: On July 4, 2007 at 11:35 am, S. Dobson of Barstow Court, Prince Frederick, MD, reported that unknown suspect/s/ removed two bicycles and their mounting equipment from his vehicle. The property is valued to in excess of $300.00. The investigation is continuing by TPR A. Merkelson.

THEFT: On July 5, 2007 at 12:28 pm, A. Arminger of Conner Court, Prince Frederick, MD, reported that an unknown culprit/s/ stole her purse from Skores Grill. A large amount of currency was inside the purse, as well as a cell phone and several different sets of keys. The investigation is being continued by TPR D. Saucerman.

THEFT: On July 5, 2007 at 3:50 pm, C. Holmes of Dixies Land Circle, Huntingtown, MD, reported that an unknown suspect/s entered her vehicles which were parked at her residence, and removed several items. The investigation is being continued by TPR J. Stern.

THEFT: On July 6, 2007, R. Aboul-Nasr of Solomons Island Road, Solomons, MD, reported that an unknown suspect/s/s entered their vehicle and removed two wallets that were locked within the vehicle. The investigation is being continued by TPR J. Towers.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: On July 6, 2007 @ 8:07 pm, Shelby Kerrick, age 20, of Lusby, MD, was arrested by TPR S. Korn for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was located and returned to the owner.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On July 9, 2007 @ 3:30 pm, E. Smith, of Lyons Creek Road, Dunkirk, MD, reported that unknown suspect/s/ had entered his property and damaged his 2005 Chevrolet Impala. The unknown suspect/s/ also destroyed several items within the vehicle. The investigation is continuing by TPR B. Laziuck.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On July 10, 2007 @ 9:00 am, the Maryland State Police received a call from D. Welch, District Court Security, regarding a disorderly subject within the District Court Building located on Duke Street, Prince Frederick, MD. Investigation by TPR J. Stern revealed that Douglas A. Stone age 46, of Rockville, MD, had entered the building and became upset with the Motor Vehicle Administration office, and began yelling and disturbing the citizens within the Court House. Stone was apprehended and charged by TPR Stern. He was then taken to the Calvert County Detention Center.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On July 11, 2007 @ 5:00 am, W. Burton of Elder Road, Port Republic, MD, reported that someone had entered his property during the evening hours and broke the driver’s side window and windshield on his Dodge Van. Investigation is being continued by TFC M. Lass.
