LEONARDTOWN, Md. - On June 15, 2007, Ms. Barbara J. Easley of Callaway, Maryland donated a K-9 Tactical Vest to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit. The vest which will provide both ballistic and stab protection will be worn by the newest member of the K-9 Unit, Canine Berry. Berry is a three year old Belgium Malawa who is trained in both patrol work and narcotics detection.
