Lexington Park Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - According to the St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI), on Tuesday, February 13 at 11:30 p.m., two black males, wearing dark clothing and ski masks, entered the Jerry and Son Restaurant on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money. The second suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and both men both fled the area.

This armed robbery is one of several that have occurred in the Lexington park area since December 2006. Other commercial robbery victims include Papa John's Pizza, Mattress Corner, the Checkers restaurant in front of the California, Md. Wal-Mart, and Cook's Liquor in Hollywood, Md.
