LA PLATA, Md. - The Charles County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
MOTOR VEHILCE THEFT: Sometime between 9:15 p.m. Jan. 29 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 30, suspect(s) stole a 1989 red and white Honda CR-500 dirt bike from the front yard of a residence in the 6100 block of Hawthorne Road in La Plata. The dirt bike had been chained to a tree and locked with a padlock. BURGLARY: Sometime between 4 p.m. Jan. 28 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 29, suspect(s) forced entry into a barn storage room in the 5300 block of Nelson Point Road in Marbury by cutting a padlock. The suspect(s) stole a .20-gauge Beretta shotgun, a .22-caliber Ruger rifle with a Tasco scope, a Colt .22-caliber single six pistol with Colt holster, a .177-caliber pellet pistol, 20-gauge shotgun rounds, .22-caliber rounds, 12-gauge shotgun rounds, 30-30-caliber rifle rounds and a DeWalt 14-volt flashlight.
