MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1-17, 2:24 PM, Rt. 2/4, Solomons, TPR Towers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A MVA check revealed that the operator, Robert Wayne Allison, Jr., 30, of Prince Frederick, was driving on a suspended license. Incident to arrest, suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. Mr. Allison was charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE/MARIJUANA: On 1-19, 7:08 PM, Williams Wharf Rd., Broomes Island, TFC Whipp stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A search was conducted and a baggie of suspected cocaine was located on the passenger, Richard Thomas Elliott, 28, of Broomes Island, and a baggie of suspected marijuana and a CDS smoking device were in the possession of the operator, Elizabeth Candice Brummitt, 21, of Port Republic. Mr. Elliott was charged with possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. Ms. Brummitt was charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, they were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 1-20, an unknown culprit damaged 4 windows and aluminum siding to a building on Maryland Ave., St. Leonard. TPR Roy is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 1-21, 1:09 AM, TPR Towers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon obtaining information from the operator, it was learned that he was 14 years old and lived in Lusby. Further investigation revealed that the operator and his passengers (two 15-year-old males, of Lusby) had driven around Chesapeake Ranch Estates and egged four residences. They were placed under arrest for malicious destruction of property (-$500). The operator was also charged with driving without a license. After processing, they were released to a parent.
