St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Deputy Jaime Reithmeyer served a Criminal Summons on Sherry Lynn King (Age 31 of California Md.) for Theft under $500.00. Suspect King stole a jar of coins from a residence. A Co-Defendant in this case, Shannyn Elizabeth Dulemba (Age 23 of California, Md.) was also charged.

Dennis Martin Evans Sr. (Age 39 of Mechanicsville) was arrested on an open warrant for Violation of a Protective Order. The arresting Officer was Deputy Jaime Reithmeyer.

Rodney Delray Taylor (Age 40 of Hollywood, Md.) was charged by Deputy Christopher Byrd on a Criminal Summons for Theft over $500.00 and Acting as a Contractor without a License. The investigation was conducted by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. Suspect Taylor agreed to conduct home improvements at the total cost of $4,500.00 and received $1,500.00 in advance. He failed to prove any services.

James Travis Moore (Age 18 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons for Assault Second Degree. Suspect Moore was delivered a pizza and stated that the toppings were incorrect. The driver responded out to his home with an additional pizza; however the first order was correct. The driver advised the Suspect he would have to go to the establishment and see the manager. It was at that time Suspect Moore assaulted the victim and shoved him backwards into his vehicle. The Criminal Summons was served by Deputy Harold D. Young.

Shannon Lee Hawkins (Age 21 of Hollywood, Md.) was served a Criminal Summons for the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County for Burglary. The summons was served by Deputy Harold D. Young.

Shelby Renee Dunlap (Age 42 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Corporal Katherine Dassing for Violation of a Protective Order.

Thomas Matthew Lee (Age 21 of Callaway) was arrested on an open warrant for Violation of a Protective Order and Driving While Suspended. The arresting Officer was Deputy David Corcoran.
