St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Jennifer Rebecca-Leann Cross (Age 23 of No Fixed Address) was arrested by Deputy David Cowan for an open warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear on three (3) counts of drug charges. Additional smoking devices were found on her person when she was searched incident to arrest.

Off duty Deputy Lieutenant Daniel D. Alioto observed a suspicious vehicle enter a housing devolpement under construction just before 10 pm on 01-04-07. After a short time inside the vehicle was exiting and a traffic stop was conducted. The operator, Dustin Brian Kelly (Age 27 of Piney Point) was found to be smoking crack cocaine. He was placed under arrest and a smoking device and residual amounts of crack cocaine were recovered. Deputy Milton Pesante was the charging Deputy.

Robert Wilson McCormick (Age 25 of Compton, Maryland) was charged on a Criminal Summons for Assault Second Degree. Deputy David Yingling was the investigating Deputy and Deputy Jaime Reithmeyer was the charging Deputy.

Jon Wesly Demco (Age 25 of Ridge, Maryland) was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Harold D. Young for Assault Second Degree.

David Ignatius Bonds (Age 42 of Great Mills) was arrested and charged with Assault Second Degree, Property Destruction and Resisting Arrest. Deputy Shawn Moses responded to a Great Mills residence for the reported domestic assault. Upon arrival the victim was found to have visible signs of injuries and there was damage to her vehicle. Deputy responded to the Suspect's place of employment and found that the suspect was trying to conceal himself behind a ladder and some desks. He failed to comply after being advised that he was under arrest. There were no injuries to the suspect or the Deputy.

Michael Eugene Hill (Age 31 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy David Cowan through a Charles County warrant for Failure to Comply with Child Support Orders.
