St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


The Following arrests were made by Deputies of the St. Mary's County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division on September 19th, 2006.

Ceandra Bonita Scott (Age 40 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons for passing a bad check. The amount of the check was over $67.00 and the charges were served by Deputy Shawn Carberry.

Deputy Robert A. Russell responded to a Leonardtown Motel for the report of a wanted subject in a room. Deputy Russell found that there was someone inside the room that would not answer. The room was entered and the wanted subject Robert Maurice Scriber (Age 33 of No Fixed Address) was hiding in the bathroom. After a brief struggle, he was taken into custody. A search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana. The additional charges were placed on the Suspect.

Sheriff’s Office Deputy David Yingling responded to a reported indecent exposure in a California, Maryland neighborhood. Upon arrival it was discovered that Suspect Robert L. Mauk (Age 64 of California, Md.) had exposed himself to several young females that were playing outside of his residence. The Suspect exposed himself at the front door of his residence and waved at the juveniles, who ran away. Deputy Yingling located the suspect inside his residence, naked and placed him under arrest. Suspect Mauk is a registered “Child Sexual” Offender.

Deputy Robert A. Russell arrested Cecilia Ann Marshall (Age 44 of California, Md) for shoplifting from a California business. The amount of the theft was more than $56.00. A search incident to the arrest revealed marijuana and a related smoking device. Additional charged for possession of the controlled dangerous substances were placed on Suspect Marshall.

Ebon Aries Jackson (Age 35 of Leonardtown) was arrested by Deputy Shawn Moses on an outstanding District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear. The original charges were for Selling Cigarettes and Trading Without a License.

Steven Paul Mudd (Age 39 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Deputy Joseph L. Somerville for passing a bad check. The value of the check was more than $77.00.

Deputy Kevin Meyer arrested Troy Sean Washington (Age 26 of Huntingtown, Maryland) for a Failure to Appear Bench Warrant issued through the District Court of St. Mary’s County.
