Due to the approach and potential impact of Tropical Storm Ernesto, St. Mary’s County Public Schools will close 2-hours early on Friday, September 1, 2006. Buses will begin their return routes at that time. All P.M. prekindergarten, after-school, and evening activities are cancelled. A decision on weekend activities is forthcoming. Parents are reminded that schools are closed Monday, September 4, 2006, in honor of Labor Day.
