On June 2 at 9:47 p.m., Officer C. Shaw was flagged down in the 2200 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf by a 25-year-old Waldorf man. Investigation revealed the victim and the suspect were in the parking lot of Domino’s Pizza at 2256 Crain Highway in Waldorf when they got into an argument. During the argument, the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck with a pocket knife. The suspect, Orin Ira Levi, 45, of no fixed address then chased the victim and attempted to stab him again.

Officers located Levi on June 3 and arrested him. He was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment and is being held without bond at the Charles County Detention Center. The victim refused medical treatment. Officer C. Shaw investigated.
