MSP Reports for Calvert County


BURGLARY: During the overnight hours of 3-28, an unknown culprit forcibly entered the Solomons Carwash and removed an undisclosed amount of coins. TFC Davis, CIT, is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 3-29, an unknown culprit caused $10,000.00 in damage to a vehicle parked on Bayside Rd., Chesapeake Beach. TPR Ewig is handling the investigation.

THEFT: On 3-30, between 7:00 PM and 7:10 PM, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a vehicle parked in the Fox Run Shopping Center and removed a purse. TPR Bigham is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY: On 3-30, 9:30 PM, TFC Huber responded to Little Cove Point Rd., Lusby, to assist a motorist who had locked himself out of his vehicle. A MVA check revealed that the tags displayed on the vehicle had been reported stolen in Baltimore Co., and the vehicle was unregistered. Arrested at that time for theft (-$100) was Travis Travoy Wills, 26, of Huntingtown. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3-30, 11:51 PM, TPR Mounts observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the Fox Run Shopping Center. Upon contact with the occupants, TPR Mounts detected the odor of suspected marijuana. DFC Windsor, CCSO, and his K-9 partner responded to the scene. The dog alerted to the presence of suspected CDS in the vehicle, and a probable cause search was conducted. During the search, suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were discovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were Corey Allen Brookman, 18, of Huntingtown, and Shaun Ray Breithaupt, 19, of Prince Frederick. After processing, the two were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 3-30, an unknown culprit threw a rock through a window at Northern High School. TPR Tillett is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 3-31, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, an unknown culprit fired a bullet through a basement window to a residence on Tomahawk Trl., Lusby. TFC Lass is handling the investigation.
