On 03/28/2006, Patrol Officers responded to an address located in Oakville, St. Mary’s County, MD for a reported sex offense. The Saint Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations was notified and assumed the investigation. Investigation revealed that a 13 year old female victim was sexually assaulted by Thomas Oswald Adams. Mr. Adams is a 43 year old male from Oakville, St. Mary’s County, MD.
Mr. Adams was subsequently apprehended and charged with one count of sexual abuse and one count of rape in the second degree. Adams was incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
