Drug Arrests in Calvert County


POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3-23, 12:09 AM, TPR Stern responded to Ponds Wood Rd., Huntingtown, to assist TFC Murphy with a traffic stop. The operator, Robert Brian Kelly, 41, of Dunkirk, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, a baggie of suspected marijuana was located on his person. Mr. Kelly was then additionally charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION W/INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA: On 3-24, 12:21 AM, Rt. 2/4, Solomons, TPR Stein stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, Daemon Scott Robertson, 22, of Great Mills, TPR Stein detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana (122.2 gms.), 7 MDMA/Ecstasy tablets, 2 Oxycontin tablets, 19 Hydrocodone tablets, a CDS smoking device, numerous empty baggies, and a digital scale were recovered. Currency, totaling $703.00, and a 1991 Cadillac Deville were seized pending forfeiture proceedings. A computer check revealed he was driving on a suspended/revoked license. Mr. Robertson was placed under arrest at that time and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of MDMA/Ecstasy, Oxycontin, Hydrocodone, and marijuana and 2 counts of possession of CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 3-25, 12:26 AM, Rt. 778, Owings, TPR Stern stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A consent search was given by the operator and a CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine residue was located in the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia was Nicholas Andrew Gegor, 18, of Chesapeake Beach. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE/MARIJUANA: On 3-26, 11:55 PM, Rt. 2/4, Solomons, TPR Stein stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Assisted at the scene by TFC Murphy and K-9 Remington, who alerted on the vehicle, TPR Stein recovered suspected crack-cocaine, marijuana, and a CDS smoking device. Arrested at that time for possession of cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia was Mary Theresa Dickerson, 47, of Mechanicsville. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3-28, 6:42 AM, TFC Whipp responded to a residence on Forest Glen Dr., Lusby, for a warrant service. Upon contact with the occupants of the residence, TFC Whipp observed 3 CDS smoking devices, containing suspected marijuana, in plain view. Arrested at that time were Paul Leroy Chew, Jr., 19, of Lusby, and a 16-year-old male, of Lusby, for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, Mr. Chew was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing. The juvenile was released to Juvenile Services.
