St. Mary's Announces Officer of the Quarter

Recently, David M. Yingling was recognized as "Officer of the Quarter" for the Fourth Quarter of 2005. Deputy First Class David M. Yingling is a very dedicated officer that always represents the agency in the best possible light. He handles every investigation with the utmost care and sensitivity which has resulted in a high closure rate. DFC Yingling is a field training officer that takes a great deal of pride in performing his job. He is careful to explain the various tasks to trainees in a manner that is easily understood but not demeaning. DFC Yingling is extremely knowledgeable about criminal and traffic laws. In addition to the collateral duty of a field training officer, DFC Yingling is a hostage negotiator and polygraph examiner.

Sheriff David D. Zylak took great pleasure in recognizing DFC Yingling as the Deputy Sheriff of the Fourth Quarter of 2005 for his dedication to the agency and the citizens of St. Mary’s County.
