Drug Arrests in Calvert County


CDS Violation

A student at Calvert High School in Prince Frederick was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance-marijuana on March 1 after he was found to have a sandwich baggie with suspected marijuana inside. Dfc. G.A. Libby charged the juvenile on a youth report and released him to the custody of his parents.


CDS Violation

A student at Patuxent High School in Lusby was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance-marijuana on February 28. Dfc. G. A. Libby located the substance on the student, charged him and released him to the Dept. of Juvenile Services.


CDS VIOLATION

On March 1 at approximately 10:06 p.m., Cpl. A. Moschetto, Dfc. R. Wilson, Dep. J. M. Bonville and Tfc. M. Murphy responded to a home on Forrest Trail in St. Leonard in reference to a call for disorderly juveniles in the roadway. Upon arrival, Cpl. Moschetto, in the lead patrol vehicle, observed 3-4 subjects running away from a group of other individuals standing and sitting around two vehicles. Cpl. Moschetto was able to detain one subject and immediately detected a strong odor of marijuana. The subject, identified as Brian J. Lesperance, 19, of St. Leonard, was detained and searched and found to be in possession of marijuana. Lesperance was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cpl. Moschetto located suspected marijuana on the ground in the middle of the subjects who were gathered around the two vehicles. Those six suspects were each arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. In addition to Lesperance, the six arrested individuals are Shaunna V. Thornley, 18, of St. Leonard, Nicholas J. Graziano, 21, of Prince Frederick, Chauncy P. Shields, 26, of Prince Frederick, Mathew D. Ezerins, 18, of St. Leonard, Christopher T. Pitcher, 27, of Lusby and one juvenile, who was charged and released to the custody of her parents.
