Shots Taken at Unwanted Party Guests in Waldorf

On March 4 at 9:52 p.m., a 20-year-old Rock Point, Md., man reported he and several friends were at a party at a residence in the 14200 block of Meadow Creek Lane in Waldorf when they were asked to leave. As the victim and his friends began to leave in their vehicle, the victim threw a pack of firecrackers out of the window. They drove away but went the wrong direction from the party and had to turn around at the end of the dead end road. As they drove past the residence again, someone fired several shots at the vehicle. A bullet fragment stuck the victim in the back of his left shoulder causing a minor injury. No one else was injured. Officers spoke with individuals who were attending the party but no one knew anything about the shooting. Officer R. Bagley is investigating.
