A BCI Detective arrived on the scene and witnessed the latter portion of the robbery. The Suspect was armed with a .25 caliber handgun. He fired one round through the ceiling of the establishment and fled the scene. The Detective gave chase. A perimeter was established and assistance was summonsed.

K-9 Roni and Slouber located the Suspect, who was still armed, in a thick bush area of the woods. Officers attempted to apprehend the Suspect and a struggle ensued. The K-9 was released to help subdue the Suspect.
