Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident in Huntingtown


On Sunday, January 15 at 11:47 p.m., Dfc. P. Wood and other officers of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Lowery Road and Hunting Lake Drive in Huntingtown for the report of a single motor vehicle accident. Preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle left the roadway and went up an embankment, causing it to roll over at least one time. All four occupants were ejected. The front seat passenger, William Joshua Fabricante, 20, of St. Leonard was pronounced dead on the scene. The right, rear seat passenger, Megan Elizabeth Jackson, 16, of Huntingtown, was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead. The driver, Brian Patrick Bowen, 21, of Lusby, was transported to P.G. County Shock Trauma Hospital Center and is in critical condition. The center rear seat passenger, Amanda Moor Galyon, 18, of Huntingtown, was transported to P.G. County Shock Trauma Hospital Center and was later released. The accident is still under investigation.
