Armed Robbery at Prince Frederick Holiday Inn


On October 26 at 11:47 p.m. the Calvert Control Center dispatched an armed robbery call at the Holiday Inn Express located at 355 Merrimac Court in Prince Frederick.

Patrol officers from the Maryland State Police and the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded. After talking with employees, Cpl. Timothy Fridman of the Calvert Investigative Team (CIT) discovered that a male armed with a handgun and wearing a Halloween mask, entered the front door of the establishment.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer and fled south on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
