The Charles County Substance Abuse Advisory Coalition will host its annual information and awareness day activities on Saturday, October 29, 2005, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the St. Charles Towne Center, in the J.C. Penney Court.
The name of this community event has been changed from "Substance Abuse Awareness Day" to "Living Healthy and Drug Free Information and Awareness Day." The event will include the Charles County Public Schools "Just Say NO" and "SADD Walk-a-Thon," information and locations of available services, presentation of awards to individuals and agencies, and other items of interest for those in attendance.
