John Harris of Prince Frederick Arrested for DUI and Drug Possession


While on routine patrol on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 11:36 p.m., Dep. C. Fischer answered a call for a possible drunk driver heading southbound on Md. Rt. 4 in Huntingtown. Dep. Fischer observed the car swerving all over the roadway near Plum Point Rd. He initiated a traffic stop and determined after conducting Standard Field Sobriety Tests that the driver was intoxicated. A search incident to arrest revealed a clear straw with white powder residue, along with some folded brown paper with a white powder substance, suspected to be cocaine in the suspect’s pocket. The suspect, John Thomas Harris, 49, of Prince Frederick, was arrested and charged with DWI and Possession of CDS.
