Upper Marlboro Man Dies After Drinking and Driving

On Aug. 30 at 10:49 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to St. Charles Parkway, north of St. Marks Drive, in Waldorf for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a Toyota SUV driven by Bryson Neal Jordan, 52, of Upper Marlboro was traveling north on St. Charles Parkway when his vehicle left the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Jordan was pronounced dead on the scene. Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash. Jordan was wearing his seatbelt. PFC S. Stanley of the Traffic Operations Unit is investigating.
