String of Thefts, B&E in Charles County


Sometime between 3 p.m. July 24 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 13, suspect(s) entered Just for the Time of It at 8275 Leonardtown Road in Hughesville, stole jewelry and silver coins and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer P. McDonald is investigating.

Sometime between 11 p.m. Aug. 11 and 12:01 a.m. Aug. 12, suspect(s) forced entry into a residence in the 3200 block of Bethesda Drive in Waldorf, stole items and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer W. Halt is investigating.

Sometime between 11 p.m. Aug. 11 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 12, suspect(s) forced entry into L&L Towing at 15230 Prince Frederick Road in Hughesville, stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer P. McDonald is investigating.

Sometime between 9 p.m. Aug. 11 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 12, suspect(s) stole a red Honda electric scooter from the porch of a residence in the 2600 block of Kirk Drive in Waldorf. The scooter needed a battery and was inoperable. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-743-2222. Officer J. Dodge is investigating.

Sometime between 10 p.m. Aug. 11 and 5 a.m. Aug. 12, suspect(s) forced entry into a vehicle parked at a residence in the 2000 block of Kelly Court in Waldorf, stole a stereo speaker and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-743-2222. Officer C. Caldwell is investigating.

Sometime between 4 p.m. Aug. 10 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 11, suspect(s) stole an electric generator from a home under construction in the 4600 block of Phillips Road in Pomfret and fled the scene. The generator was chained to a wall frame and the suspect(s) destroyed the wall frame to remove the generator. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-743-2222. Officer J. Dodge is investigating.

Sometime between 2 p.m. July 31 and 7 a.m. Aug. 8, suspect(s) entered a 2004 Lexus parked at a residence in the 6200 block of Seal Place in Waldorf, stole a set of Ping iron golf clubs in a blue canvas carrying bag and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Cpl. M. Clark is investigating.

On Aug. 7 about 5 p.m., suspect(s) stole a blue and silver Mongoose bicycle from the front yard of a residence in the 800 block of Belfast Road in Waldorf. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer P. McDonald is investigating.

Sometime between July 26 and Aug. 5, suspect(s) forced entry into an unoccupied residence in the 4600 block of Taylor Court in Waldorf, damaged the walls and doors and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer P. McDonald is investigating.
