Health Advisory Lifted in Area Affected by Sewage Overflow


WALDORF, MARYLAND (TUESDAY, JULY 26, 2005) - The Charles County Health Department lifted the advisory today in the stream area affected by an accidental sewage overflow on July 16 from a manhole leading to the pump station located on Route 5 approximately 1/0 mile south of St. Charles Parkway. Testing conducted by the Charles County Department of Utilities indicates that there are no adverse environmental impacts or health issues in the affected area.
