Waldorf Sears Employee Steals from Employer; More...


THEFT SCHEME: On June 26 at 2 p.m., Officer M. Kennedy responded to Sears at 11170 Mall Circle in Waldorf, for a theft report. Investigation revealed an employee, Jarvis Antonio Alridge, 18, of Accokeek stole an undisclosed amount of cash from Sears between May 3 and June 26. Alridge was charged at the scene with Theft More Than $500 and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. Officer M. Kennedy investigated.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On June 25 at 1:15 a.m., Officer R. Glover conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2800 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for a broken taillight. Investigation revealed the driver, Darryl Eugene Lewis, 22, of Clinton, was wanted in Prince George's County. Lewis was arrested and a search revealed he was in possession of marijuana. Lewis was charged with Possession of Marijuana and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
