Waldorf Residents Stage Ambush After Dispute, Shots Fired into Occupied Vehicle

On June 23 at 1:43 p.m., a 34-year-old woman and two boys, ages 15 and 17, all of Waldorf, were traveling south on St. Charles Parkway near Duncannon Drive in Waldorf in a maroon Ford Expedition when a gray Chevrolet sport utility-vehicle pulled in front of the Expedition and began driving slower than the speed limit. A green Honda Accord then pulled closely behind the Expedition and a suspect in the Honda shot out the back window in the Expedition. The suspects in the Chevrolet and Honda then fled the scene. No one was injured.

The victims went to a residence in the 10400 block of Sextant Place in Waldorf, where they reported the incident. The incident extended from a neighborhood dispute between some residents in the Bannister and Carrington subdivisions in Waldorf.
