PAXRVR Awards More Contracts Totalling in Tens of Millions


Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute*, A Limited Partnership, New Haven, Conn., is being awarded a $6,275,411 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-03-D-0066) to provide additional theory of constraints design and deployment, training, and certification support for Naval Aviation Enterprise training. The estimated level of effort for this modification is XX man-hours. Work will be performed at the Naval Air Depot (NAVAIRDEPOT) North Island, San Diego, Calif. (13 percent); NAVAIRDEPOT Jacksonville, Fla. (10 percent); Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 11, Miramar, Calif. (6 percent); Camp Pendleton, Calif. (6 percent); Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD) Norfolk, Va. (6 percent); MALS 12, Iwakuni, Japan (6 percent); Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island, Wash. (6 percent); NAVAIRDEPOT Cherry Point, N.C. (6 percent); AIMD Brunswick, Maine (6 percent); AIMD Jacksonville, Fla. (5 percent); NAS Kanoeohe, Hawaii (3 percent); AIMD Mayport, Fla. (3 percent); AIMD Pt. Mugu, Calif. (3 percent); AIMD Corpus Christi, Texas (3 percent); AIMD Fallon, Nev. (3 percent); AIMD Misawa, Japan (3 percent); MALS 16 Miramar, Calif. (3 percent); NAS Lemoore, Calif. (3 percent); NAS Oceana, Norfolk, Va. (3 percent); and MALS 20, New River, N.C. (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $49,826,130 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-04-C-0113) for 6 Low Rate Initial Production III MH-60R aircraft. Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in June 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Defense Technologies Inc., Ranlo, N.C., is being awarded an $8,821,262 ceiling-priced indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for basic and applied research leading to the development of a prototype Intelligent Autonomous Unmanned Controls Station System. Work will be performed in Ranlo, N.C. (70 percent) and Patuxent River, Md. (30 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Broad Agency Announcement; one proposal was received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-05-D-0055).

Raytheon Co., Electronics Systems, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $13,556,505 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-04-C-0123) to exercise an option for the seventh full-rate-production lot of 15 AN/ALR-67(V)3 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR)systems for the F/A-18E/F for the Navy inventory. The AN/ALR-67(V)3 RWR is a radar warning receiver that provides visual and aural alerts to F/A-18E/F aircrew upon detection of ground-based, ship-based, or airborne radar emitters. It is designed to enhance pilot situational awareness by providing accurate identification, lethality, and azimuth displays of hostile and friendly emitters. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif. (39 percent); Forest, Miss. (27 percent); Goleta, Calif. (16 percent); Lansdale, Pa. (10 percent); Portland, Ore. (5 percent), and McKinney, Texas (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2007. Contract funds in the amount of $13,556,505 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
