Local Man Dies in One Vehicle Accident in Hollywood


On June 6, 2005 at 1:23 p.m., Charles Earl Bussler was operating a 1998 Ford F-150. He was traveling north on Friendship School Road, Hollywood, St. Mary's County, Maryland when he failed to negotiate a curve and exited the northbound roadside. The vehicle struck an embankment and came to rest in a creek. Mr. Bussler received incapacitating injuries and was transported to St. Mary's Hopital. On June 7, 2005 Mr. Bussler succumbed to his injuries at Washington Hospital Center. The cause of the collision is under investigation by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.
