Shoplifter Arrested, Wanted for Probation Violation in Montgomery County


On May 2 at 3:45 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to JC Penney at 11130 Mall Circle in Waldorf for the shoplifting in progress report. Investigation revealed Shicouia Deprice Holbert, 26, of Washington D.C., concealed merchandise and fled the business without paying. Holbert was apprehended in the parking lot and charged with Theft Less Than $500. Further investigation revealed she was wanted in Montgomery County for violation of probation. She was subsequently served with the warrant. She is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. Cpl. M. Clark investigated.
