On April 12 at 4:09 p.m., Charles County school bus #109, driven by Branch Delano Coleman, 57, of Hollywood, was attempting to make a right turn onto Leonardtown Road from Homeland Road in Hughesville when the bus struck a guard rail. The driver and the only student on the bus, a 12-year-old girl, were not injured. The bus sustained minor damage. Officer C. Smith investigated.
