Charles County Sheriff's Seek Suspect in Liquor Store Robbery


ARMED ROBBERY: On April 4 at 9:41 p.m., a suspect entered Big B's Liquors at 7099 Indian Head Highway in Bryans Road, obtained a beer and took it to the counter to pay. When the clerk entered the price of the beer into the register, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect also demanded the money in the lottery register from another clerk. The employees complied and the suspect then fled the business northbound on Indian Head Highway in a vehicle, which was occupied and waiting in the parking lot. The vehicle is described as a newer-model light-colored vehicle - possibly gray or blue - with stock rims or hub caps. The suspect is described as a black male between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 200 and 220 pounds. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-743-2222. Officer J. Long is investigation.
