Property Destruction in Mechanicsville and More From the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Dept.


March 19, 2005 at approximately 6:00 p. m. Cpl. Deborah Milam responded to a reported property destruction to a field and yard at a farm on Baptist Church Rd., in Mechanicsville, MD. A lookout was given for a suspect vehicle. Cpl. Milam located the vehicle on the way to the victim's farm. A 17 year old juvenile was taken into custody for the damage to the property. He was later released to a parent pending a hearing with the Juvenile Authorities. The cost of the damage to the property has not yet been determined.

March 19, 2005, Dfc. Christopher Morley charged Jacquelyn Robin Leach, age 34 of Great Mills by Criminal Summons with Bad Check Under $500.00. The charge was a result of a Criminal Information filed in District Court on a bad check written in November 2004 at McKays in Hollywood, MD. Jacquelyn Robin Leach was released pending a preliminary inquiry in District Court.

March 19, 2005 Dfc. Michael Peacher charged Joyce Ann Dunn age 43 of Leonardtown by Criminal Summons with Bad Check Under $500.00. The charge was a result of a Criminal Information filed in District Court on a bad check written in December 2004 at Sign of the Whale in Lexington Park, MD. Joyce Ann Dunn was released pending a preliminary inquiry in District Court.

March 19, 2995 Dfc. Christopher Morley responded to a reported violation of Protective Order at Walmart in California, MD. Sandy Kim Jones was protected by court order from contact from and harassment from Keith Anthony Young. Keith Young continued to contact Sandy Jones in violation of the order. Dfc. Morley arrested Keith Anthony Young, age 37 of Lexington Park, MD and charged him with Violation of a Protective Order. Keith Young is held at the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending arraignment before a District Court Commissioner.

March 19, 2005 at approximately 5:00 p. m. Dfc. Michael D. Peacher arrested Michael Leonard Semiklase, age 19, of Lexington Park, MD on a District Court Bench Warrant. Michael Semiklase had failed to appear in court on an 2nd Degree Assault case. Michael Leonard Semiklase is held at the St. Mary's County Detention Center on $3,500.00 bond.
