PAXRVR Awards Contracts


OPTRA Inc.*, Topsfield, Mass., is being awarded a $6,860,725 ceiling-priced cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the design of a prototype Laser Event Recorder to capture, alert and record potentially harmful laser exposures. Work will be performed at Patuxent River, Md. (90 percent) and Annapolis, Md. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in March 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured through a full and open competition. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-05-D-0039).

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $14,014,073 firm-fixed-priced delivery order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-04-G-0003). This order provides for the manufacture of engineering change proposal kits for the E-2C Group O Hawkeye (ECP-422-R1, Kit 9, 15-ton Enhanced Vapor Cycle and ECP-411-R1 200 Export Configuration Upgrade) for the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in December 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,291,113 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-03-G-0014) to exercise an option for engineering non-recurring design tasks leading to the generation of engineering change proposals for the Link 16 data link system, including the middleware software and audio management, for the MH-60R and MH-60S. Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
