Sheriff's Office Deputy John W. Cusic served a retake warrant on a Great Mills juvenile for violation of probation. The 15 year old juvenile was transported to Cheltenham Juvenile Detention Center until they are brought before the juvenile court.
Deputy John W. Cusic located and served a criminal summons of Dennis Lee Gross (age 25 of Lexington Park) related to an incident at a California residence. There were no other details related to the arrest, other than it was a single charge of assault second degree and the charges were filed through Criminal Information by the State's Attorney's Office. He is released pending a District Court Hearing.
Sheriff's Office Deputy Jason Maletto conducted an investigation into a Christopher Joseph Swann (Lexington Park age 21) related to a theft. Suspect Swann was a Security Guard at the Target Store and over the last several months he stole electronics, DVDs, a camera and other items from the store. The total amount of the theft is more than $4,700.00. Suspect Swann was arrested and charged with theft over $500.00 and theft scheme over $500.00 and is currently incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
