The St. Mary’s County Memorial Libraries announce the continuation of a successful public/private partnership between the County government and the new vendor of the Read A Latté Coffee Bar at the Lexington Park Library, Ms. Helen Salzman Marquis.
Ms. Marquis is a local woman with experience in food service as well as marketing. In addition to the same array of coffees and pastries that the public has always enjoyed at the bar, Ms. Marquis has added a variety of new items including hot teas, fruit smoothies, hot soup, and wrap sandwiches.
The St. Mary's County Board of Library Trustees issued a public call for Expression of Interest in becoming the Coffee Bar's new vendor in late 2004, following the out-of state relocation of the previous vendor.
Read A Latté Coffee Bar hours of operation are the same as the library hours: Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
